Leadership Structure
To maximize coordination and better support integration of student success efforts across the University, we have restructured the Student Success leadership into a Strategic Leadership Team, Implementation Leadership Team, and six implementation teams.
The Strategic Leadership Team, co-led by Executive Vice President Rick Miranda and Vice Provost for Planning and Effectiveness Laura Jensen, will coordinate and support efforts to achieve our goal of a 90% first-time, full-time fall-to-fall retention rate and the elimination of opportunity gaps.
The Implementation Leadership Team is comprised of the leads of each of the six implementation teams — Academic Advising, Curricular Reform: Math, High-Impact Experiences, IT Support, Enrollment & Access, and Academic Matters/Curricular Coordination — and is directed by Assistant Vice President for Student Success Ryan Barone and Senior Student Success Manager Coronda Ziegler. The implementation teams will drive toward measurable impacts in their respective areas that contribute to attaining our stated goal. In doing so, the implementation teams will set objectives, benchmark target results, and measure key performance indicators to track against our goal.
