About Student Success
Student Success is a campuswide set of evolving initiatives designed to create equitable educational environments resulting in increased graduation rates and the elimination of opportunity gaps. Colorado State’s mission as a land-grant university is excellence in teaching, research, service, and extension and centers on the ideal that to be excellent, we must be both inclusive and equitable in our practices.
The Student Success Initiatives are formulated to build upon two framing white papers:
- “A Plan for Excellence: Enhancing Undergraduate Education and Student Success” (2006), and
- “Access to Excellence: Eliminating Graduation Gaps at Colorado State University” (2018).
