Key Collaborators

Essential Student Success Collaborators

While Student Success Initiatives span the entire University, listed below are some of the key CSU partners working with Student Success toward our mission: creating equitable educational environments resulting in increased graduation rates and eliminating opportunity gaps.

Office of the Provost & Executive Vice President and Division of Student Affairs

Shared leadership for the CSU Student Success Initiatives has stemmed from collaboration between the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President and the Division of Student Affairs. This partnership ensures holistic student support for learning and that success is integrated into initiatives and partnerships, leveraging expertise and insights from each division.

Division of Enrollment & Access

Student success work at CSU begins before a student matriculates and continues into post-graduation through ongoing support and services from the Division of Enrollment and Access. Rather than creating hand-offs and compartmentalized tractions, collaborations with this division ensure a more coherent student experience.

Office for Inclusive Excellence

Housing the Cultural Resource Centers and being a hub for faculty and staff professional development rooted in Inclusive Excellence, the Office for Inclusive Excellence leads, informs, and contributes to equitable student success initiatives in colleges and all divisions at CSU.

The Association for Undergraduate Education at Research Universities (UERU)

Housed at CSU, the The Association for Undergraduate Education at Research Universities (UERU) (formerly the Reinvention Collaborative) is a Boyer-inspired consortium that brings together research-university leaders with expertise in the theory and practice of undergraduate education. The work of UERU and the Boyer 2030 Commission blueprint, “The Equity-Excellence Imperative,” informs CSU’s student success activities.

The Institute for Learning & Teaching (TILT)

Founded as a Student Success Initiative, The Institute for Learning and Teaching (TILT) implements both student- and faculty-facing activities, programs, and training rooted in advancing student success at CSU.
